Who We Are
VITRUVIUM Design & Build Inc. is led by its founder, Wilmer Arboleda, a California-licensed General Building Contractor (CSLB #1153712) who has also held general contractor credentials in New York and New Jersey.
He holds professional degrees earned outside the United States in architecture and civil engineering construction, with specialized training in the overall supervision of civil engineering projects.
He brings more than twenty years of experience across three countries, including the United States, where he has worked on projects in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California. He also holds OSHA certifications and additional certifications in construction site safety and U.S. building systems.
The Experience Behind Every Project
His background includes government projects, educational facilities, military and correctional facilities, public works, and sports and energy facilities associated with FIFA and Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
His experience also covers residential, commercial, and industrial projects, renovations, and studies focused on assessing and reducing natural disaster risks.
Committed to Santa Monica. Wilmer lives in Santa Monica with his family and contributes to his community as a contractor providing maintenance and repairs for local schools.
His designs incorporate studies of each site and the needs of the people who will use the space. These assessments guide material selection and construction solutions, considering resistance to corrosion, moisture, and fire, along with measures to reduce vulnerability to earthquakes, landslides, and other natural hazards.
VITRUVIUM is backed by its founder’s professional education, experience, and certifications, along with the company’s licenses and insurance policies. The company coordinates a team of professionals and specialists across multiple disciplines to complete residential and commercial projects from start to finish.
